UNIONIN26 is a Helsinki-based design co-operative that specializes in handicrafts, art, and design, offering high-quality and unique products to its customers. We are centrally located on Unioninkatu, right next to the statue of Havis Amanda and the Market Square, at Unioninkatu 26, 00130 Helsinki.

The story of our co-operative began in March 2015 when a group of passionate and talented artists and craftsmen decided to join forces and create a common space where they could showcase their skills and creativity. The goal of founding UNIONIN26 was to create a place where local crafts, art, and design meet and form a unique whole.

The store was named U26 Shop, which shares the Craftcorner business premises together with Taitoshop Helsinki and Taitoliitto's Taito Galleria. Each of the three operators has its own section in the store, which enables a diverse and rich selection of products and services for our customers. This collaboration highlights the diversity of Finnish craftsmanship and the versatility of art.

Today, our cooperative has eight members, each of whom brings their own special expertise and creativity to U26 Shop's offering. Together we form a tight-knit community that constantly supports and inspires each other. This sense of community is also reflected in the service offered to our customers, where the customer can meet the artists themself talking about their products.
